Overview
The CNRN Review Course is a comprehensive web-based offering that includes videos and quizzes designed to help participants prepare for the CNRN® Certification Exam.  Content also enhances participant’s knowledge regarding nursing care for neuroscience patients.  The course is self-paced and participants can earn Nursing Continuing Education (CE) credit upon successful completion and evaluation of the course.  Participants will have access to this course from January 1 – June 30, 2021.  Nursing CE credits will be awarded after July 1, 2021; therefore CE credit earned may not be used for Iowa licensure renewal which occurs prior to July 1, 2021.

Objectives
  1. Describe correlative anatomy of the nervous system.
  2. Analyze complex nursing management of neuroscience patients using information from diagnostic tests, assessments, and nursing interventions.

Accreditation
The maximum number of CE credits for this course is 19.4 contact hours. Nursing Continuing Education (CE) credit will be granted by University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics Department of Nursing (IBN Approved Provider #34).  Credits will be awarded after July 1, 2021; therefore CE credit earned may not be used for Iowa licensure renewal which occurs prior to July 1, 2021.  See brochure for further details.
