  1. Describe the differences and the challenges of the pediatric airway.
  2. Describe how to help provide care in the event of malignant hyperthermia.
  3. List signs and symptoms of malignant hyperthermia.
  4. Review the basics of anesthesia.
  5. Describe the importance of perioperative neurological assessment.
  6. Recognize the importance of neurological changes in the perioperative period.

Accreditation

Nursing CE Credits:
4.0 contact hours will be granted by UIHC Department of Nursing (IBN Approved Provider
#34). Participants must attend the entire session to receive full credit.
