Objectives
  1. Recognize when a clinical scenario may require a surrogate health care decision assignment.
  2. Translate increases in the need for use of surrogate decision makers with changes in US demographics, increases in life expectancy, and the impact of COVID-19 on vulnerable individuals.
  3. Apply new knowledge of the surrogate decision process to scenarios when legal counsel, ethics boards, and psychiatric consultation may be helpful.

Registration & Fees There is no charge to listen to the podcast, but registration is required to obtain a credit certificate, and there is a $15 fee (no charge for UI Faculty, Staff and Adjuncts).
