Improved screening and care strategies will be provided to positively impact health outcomes. A discussion will be held regarding the treatment of perinatal substance disorders and the requirement of teamwork by interdisciplinary professionals. In addition, the start-up or expansion of a center for perinatal substance use disorders will be reviewed as well as connecting health professionals with local resources.
