Overview

The conference will be held at the Medical Education Research Facility and also virtually through Zoom.

 

This annual conference is designed to explore patient care innovations for neonates, infants, children, adolescents, and women throughout their life span. Presentations on new evidence-based standards of nursing care as well as new technologies, procedures, and research illustrate the constantly evolving nature of nursing practice in a changing health care environment. Topics address both behavioral and clinical issues that are relevant to nurses and ancillary professionals in a variety of settings including acute care, ambulatory, and community-based practices.

When registering you will indicate whether you plan to attend the conference in-person at the Medical Education Research Facility or online through Zoom. Space for in-person attendees will be limited. 

Registration closes on October 7, 2022.

Refund policy: Full (minus $10 cancellation fee) if notification  received on or before 10/7/2022.           

COVID-19 Precautions: CDC recommendations will guide the layout and structure of this event. We reserve the right to transition the conference to a virtual only event via Zoom based on COVID-19 restrictions. We will provide any necessary updates prior to the event.

Accreditation

5.7 contact hours will be granted by University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics Department of Nursing (IBN Approved Nursing Providership #34).
