Perianesthesia Nursing Conference 2023

This conference will be held virtually through Zoom from 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM (CST).

The purpose of this conference is to provide an update on a variety of topics of interest to enhance the knowledge of the PeriAnesthesia nurse.

Iowa Board of Nursing, Provider #34 (4.25 hours), Non-Nurse Attendance (4.25 hours)

1. Review the current, state-of-the-art, and emerging field of interventional radiology.
2. Describe tools to foster a sense of wellness and well-being. Discuss physical and emotional well-being.
3. Describe indications, contraindications, and complications associated with peripheral nerve blocks.
4. Discuss the benefit of cryotherapy for Nuss Bar placement.

Registration Fee:

$35; (Add $15 after 2/15/2023)
UI Employees: $25

Registration closes on 2/22/2023.

Refund: Full (minus $10 cancellation fee) if notification received on or before 2/22/2023.

4.25 contact hours will be granted by University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics Department of Nursing (IBN Approved Provider #34). Participants must attend the entire program to receive full credit.
