Basic Fetal Monitoring Workshop

This workshop is designed to provide basic information for obstetrical nurses on the use of fetal monitoring in the care of patients. Discussion will include methods of fetal monitoring, recognition of changes and interventions to assist in the management of patients. Documentation issues and methods of antepartum testing will be included.

Workshop Fee:
 - UIHC OB Nurses or UIHC Family Medicine Nurses: No fee
 - UIHC All Other Staff: $40
 - Non-UIHC Staff: $117 (includes workshop materials, parking and nursing CE credit)

A $20 non-refundable late fee will be assessed for all registrations made after the June 6, 2023 deadline.  To register after the deadline date, please call 319-356-1238 to find out if there is seat availability. Registration after the deadline may be declined if space is already filled.

Class Minimum: Minimum of 3 registered attendees required to hold the class. If minimum is not met, attendees may transfer registration to a future course.

Refund: Full (minus $20 cancellation fee) if notification received 3 days prior to the program. Substitutions are permitted at any time.

5.4 contact hours will be granted by UI Hospitals & Clinics Department of Nursing (IBN Approved Provider #34). Participants must attend the entire program to receive full credit.
