Overview
Provides healthcare professionals and teams, including non-intensivists, with the training to manage critically ill patients for the first 24 hours or until appropriate critical care consultation can be arranged. The course concentrates on adult critical care but also includes separate sections on critical care for pregnancy and pediatrics. This course also focuses on improving inter-professional collaborative practice and health outcomes.

  1. Identify appropriate diagnostic tests for specific patient populations
  2. Prioritize clinical critical care management issues
  3. Assess the critically ill patient in an organized fashion

Registration

Course Fees
Registration - $300

The registration fee includes tuition, course materials, continental breakfasts, break refreshments, and lunches.  Registration is on a first-come first-serve basis.  An email confirmation will be sent upon receipt of payment and completed registration form pending available seats in the course.  


Cancellation Policy
Cancellation requests must be made via email to [email protected] by the end of the day May 10, 2023.  Such requests will be refunded the cost of registration less a $75 per person fee.  Any requests for cancellation/refunds after that date will not be honored.  


Course Materials
Upon receipt of payment, course materials which includes a training eBook as well as instructions on completing the online PRETEST prior to the start of the course, will be sent to the email address you provide at registration.  It is recommended that you review these materials.


Parking
Parking is available in hospital parking ramps 1 or 3.  The cost ($20/day) for parking is not included in the registration fee and is not validated.  We strongly encourage you to use the CAMBUS service.
