Overview

Sponsored by the University of Iowa Heart and Vascular Center, this one-day event will begin with an overview of the latest electrophysiology guidelines and treatment options, emphasizing current and emerging cutting-edge therapies. The symposium will focus on atrial fibrillation, reviewing treatment options for medical management, including the management of associated cardiac diseases and comorbidities in this patient population. In addition, updates on advanced invasive treatment options for atrial fibrillation will be discussed. This multidisciplinary symposium will include discussions on new technologies to monitor patients and improve quality of life. There will also be discussion on therapies for conduction disease and the role of artificial intelligence in electrophysiology.
