Pediatric Fundamental Critical Care Support (PFCCS) Provider Course is a major resource for those interested in developing or refreshing their skills regarding the recognition of critical illnesses in children and the initiation of life-saving interventions for the critically ill pediatric patient.

AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (14.50 hours), ANCC Contact Hours (14.50 hours), Non-Physician Attendance (14.50 hours)

Objectives
  1. Recognize and initiate management of acute, life-threatening conditions
  2. Prioritize assessment needs for the critically ill or injured infant or child.
  3. Select appropriate diagnostic tests
  4. Respond to significant changes in the unstable pediatric patient.
  5. Determine the need for expert consultation and/or patient transfer and the optimal methodology accomplishing patient transfer.

Registration

Registration: open through 5/5/24

  • Physicians, Residents and Fellows: $350.00
  • Any Other Healthcare Professional (Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Nurses, EMT, Paramedics, etc.): $250.00

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellation requests must be made via email to [email protected] by the end of the day, May 1, 2024.  Such requests will be refunded the cost of registration less a $50.00 per person fee. Any requests for cancellation/refunds after that date will not be honored.

Carver College of Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
