Children's & Women's Services Nursing Conference 2024

This annual conference is designed to explore patient care innovations for neonates, infants, children, adolescents, and women throughout their life span. Presentations on new evidence-based standards of nursing care as well as new technologies, procedures, and research illustrate the constantly evolving nature of nursing practice in a changing health care environment. Topics address both behavioral and clinical issues that are relevant to nurses and ancillary professionals in a variety of settings including acute care, ambulatory, and community-based practices.

Iowa Board of Nursing, Provider #34 (5.60 hours), Non-Nurse Attendance (5.60 hours)

1. Review education, research, and practice improvements for care across roles, settings and patient populations.
2. Identify evidence-based implementation strategies to improve patient outcomes within the children’s and women’s health care setting.
3. Discuss diagnosis, treatment, management, and emerging options for neonatal, pediatric, obstetrics, and women’s health populations.

General Registration Fee:
$90 (Add $15 after 9/8/2024)

University of Iowa Health Care Employees and Nursing Education Students Registration Fee: $50

Refund policy: Full (minus $10 cancellation fee) if notification  received on or before 9/19/2024.

5.6 contact hours will be granted by University of Iowa Health Care Department of Nursing (IBN Approved Providership #34). Participants must attend the entire program to receive full credit.
