Objectives
  1. Guide patients to be on guard for heat-related illnesses and be ready and able to protect themselves if they must be outdoors.
  2. Know what to do and not do out in the field to begin treatment for heat-related illnesses.
  3. Recognize when a heat-stroke patient needs emergency assessment and treatment at a major medical center.

Registration
There is no charge to listen to the podcast, but registration is required to obtain a credit certificate, and there is a $7.50 credit fee (no charge for UI Faculty, Staff and Adjuncts).
