Overview
Preceptors play an essential role in educating and professionalizing student pharmacists on rotations. Evaluations are critical component of this process. Attendees will learn how incorporate new evaluation techniques effectively.

Objectives
  1. Describe the history of the Curricular Outcomes and Entrustable Professional Activities (COEPA).
  2. List domains of educational outcomes associated with COEPA.
  3. Apply an entrustment scale to assess activities in an experiential setting through cases.
  4. Identify COEPA components in experiential evaluation forms.

Registration opens on 5/8/25 at 7:00 AM and closes on 6/11/25 at 7:00 AM.

Carver College of Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

 

Pharmacist and Pharmacy Tech: The University of Iowa Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine designates this knowledge-based activity for a maximum of 1.0 ACPE contact hours. Credit will be uploaded to the NABP CPE Monitor within 60 days after the activity completion.
