Overview

The Advanced Fetal Monitoring course expands on the knowledge and physiological principles presented in the Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Course. This course uses a case study approach to focus on the analysis of maternal-fetal physiology related to complex clinical information and fetal heart rate tracings. The course emphasizes the physiology of fetal-maternal oxygenation, the interpretation of tracings, the selection of clinical interventions, and perinatal risk-management principles.

  • UI Health Care Nurses: No registration fee (course materials will be provided)

  • UI Health Care Providers: No registration fee, AWHONN course materials must be purchased by attendee or attendees department

  • External Attendees: $110 registration fee, AWHONN course materials must be purchased by attendee
