Children's and Women's Services Nursing Conference 2026

This annual conference is designed to explore patient care innovations for neonates, infants, children, adolescents, and women throughout their lifespan. Topics address both behavioral and clinical issues relevant to nurses and ancillary professionals in a variety of settings.

ANCC Contact Hours (5.50 hours), Participation (5.50 hours)

1. Review education, research, and practice improvements for care across roles, settings and patient populations.
2. Identify evidence-based implementation strategies to improve patient outcomes within the children’s and women’s health care setting.
3. Discuss diagnosis, treatment, management, and emerging options for neonatal, pediatric, obstetrics, and women’s health populations.

Registration Fees:

• Non-University of Iowa Health Care Attendees = $90

  • Increases to $105 after 9/13/2026

• UI Health Care Employees & Nursing Students = $60

In support of improving patient care, the University of Iowa Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

Nurse: The University of Iowa Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine designates this activity for a maximum of 5.5 ANCC contact hours.

Other Health Care Provider: A certificate of participation will be available after successful completion of an online evaluation. It is the responsibility of the licensees to determine if this continuing education activity meets the requirements of their professional licensure board.
