Overview

This conference provides updates on emerging therapies and clinical advances in allergy and immunology. Topics include novel treatments for atopic dermatitis, oral immunotherapy, biologics in allergen immunotherapy, JAK inhibitors, STAT gain-of-function disorders, alpha-gal allergy, PFAPA, and the impact of GLP-1 agonists on allergic disease. Participants will gain practical, evidence-based insights to improve the diagnosis and management of patients with allergic and immunologic conditions.

  1. Describe the importance of the JAK-STAT pathway in allergy/immunology
  2. Explain Alpha-gal allergy and its management
  3. Compare and contrast different new therapies for atopic dermatitis
  4. Appraise the evidence for oral allergen immunotherapy in food allergy
  5. Examine the use of biologics in the setting of allergen immunotherapy
  6. Critique GLP1 agonist date in allergy/immunology
  7. Implement the use of JAK inhibitors in hyperinflammation
  8. Discuss the use of tonsillectomy for Periodic Fever, Aphthous stomatitis, Pharyngitis, Adenitis syndrome
  9. Collaborate as a healthcare team to discuss complex allergy/immunology cases and apply evidence-based approaches to patient care
