CWS Conference - Pediatrics Breakout Session

For those unable to attend the Pediatric breakout sessions during the original conference, these breakout sessions were recorded and made available to registered attendees.

If you attended the Pediatric breakout sessions during the conference on October 5, 2021, do NOT complete this course since it would be double credit.

Iowa Board of Nursing, Provider #34 (2.25 hours), Non-Nurse Attendance (2.25 hours)

1. Discuss common presentations, evidence-based treatment options and outcomes of constipation in children.
2. Explore the prevalence of adolescent depression and anxiety and identify ways to evaluate adolescent emotional health and provide resources for patients and families during times of need.
3. Summarize steps the nurse can take to decrease challenging behaviors in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
4. Describe auriculotherapy and its clinical application in helping a variety of different symptoms and conditions.

Only individuals who registered for the Children's and Women's Services Fall Nursing Conference on October 5, 2021, will have access to this course. There is no additional fee.

2.25 contact hour will be granted by University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics Department of Nursing (IBN Approved Provider #34). Participants must attend the entire program to receive full credit.
