Overview

COVID-19 is now over two years old. What are we seeing in patients that continue to experience symptoms? Who is at risk? What is the course of treatment?  Today we'll discuss these topics and more, with two of several experts at the Post COVID-19 Clinic. (Recorded 3/21/22)

Objectives
  1. Identify patients at risk for long-COVID
  2. Educate their patients on the ways that an acute and mild COVID-19 viral infection can transition to a disabling long-term illness.
  3. Apply new long-haul prevention strategies including promoting full vaccinations and the use of anti-virals to their broad patient population.

Registration
There is no charge to listen to the podcast, but registration is required to obtain a credit certificate, and there is a $11.25 credit fee (no charge for UI Faculty, Staff and Adjuncts).

Accreditation

The University of Iowa Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

CME Credit Designation
