Integrating the Art and Science of Neuroscience Nursing 2024

The purpose of this two-day conference is to optimize the care of neuroscience patients by providing advanced knowledge and innovative care strategies impacting neuroscience nurses and patients across the lifespan.  

This content may help individuals prepare for the Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse (CNRN) or Stroke Certified Registered Nurse (SCRN) exams and count towards The Joint Commission Stroke Center Certification education.

Iowa Board of Nursing, Provider #34 (12.40 hours), Non-Nurse Attendance (12.40 hours)

1. Describe neuro anatomy and the correlation with neuroscience patient care.
2. Discuss diagnosis, treatment, management and emerging options for neuroscience pathologies.
3. Identify strategies to promote integration of the art of patient care and science to optimize patient outcomes.

Registration Fee:
2-days: $100 (Add $20 after 8/16/2024)
Single day: $70 (Add $20 after 8/16/2024)

University of Iowa Health Care Employees and Nursing Students Fee:
2-days: $80
Single day: $50

12.4 contact hours - both days; (6.2 contact hours per day) will be granted by University of Iowa Health Care Department of Nursing (IBN Approved Nursing Providership #34).
