Digital Medicine in OB/Gyn

This postgraduate course will provide obstetric and gynecologic healthcare providers with a practical, evidence-based understanding of emerging digital health technologies and their application across the spectrum of women’s health care. Participants will explore the use of mobile health applications, wearable devices, remote patient monitoring platforms, and artificial intelligence–enabled tools to support prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and longitudinal management in obstetrics and gynecology. The course will highlight clinical applications in areas such as prenatal and postpartum care, hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, diabetes, fertility, gynecologic conditions, and patient education, while critically evaluating the quality, accuracy, usability, and evidence supporting available technologies. Particular emphasis will be placed on integrating digital tools into clinical workflows, interpreting patient-generated health data, understanding the opportunities and limitations of artificial intelligence, and addressing issues of privacy, cybersecurity, bias, health equity, regulatory oversight, and ethical use. Through case-based discussion and review of contemporary digital resources, participants will develop the skills necessary to thoughtfully evaluate and incorporate digital health technologies into safe, patient-centered Obstetrics and Gynecology practice.

1. Apply digital health tools, including remote monitoring and algorithm-supported risk assessments, to clinical OB/GYN decision-making.
2. Integrate digital data into workflows to improve communication, documentation, and team coordination.
3. Evaluate the quality, limitations, and ethical considerations of digital technologies to ensure safe, effective use in obstetric and gynecologic care.

Cancellation Policy
All but $25 of the fee is refundable if inability to attend is made known on or before October 30, 2026. Refunds will not be made after this date.
