This workshop is designed to provide basic information for obstetrical nurses on the use of fetal monitoring in the care of patients.

This two-day program is designed to enhance the nurse’s understanding of chemotherapy and care of patients receiving chemotherapy.

The purpose of this class is to provide information for nurses on surgeries and supportive cares for oncology patients. This includes principles of surgical oncology, radiation oncology, managing oncologic complications, addressing tobacco use in cancer care, navigating language barriers, sexuality related issues, and the Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) oncology program.

The University of Iowa’s ECMO program has been offering ECMO courses since 2009. We are proud to offer this ELSO Endorsed ECMO Training Course which is intended to train all levels of ECMO providers (APP, CCP, Physician, RN, RRT) through a combination of didactic presentations and high-fidelity simulation. This course will fullfil the requirements for Step 1 and Step 2 of the E-AEC certification. Course content includes management of VenoVenous and VenoArterial ECMO.
