Overview

In this episode we learn about the important role that sexual assault nurse examiners (SANE) and sexual assault response teams (SART) have in caring for victims in the immediate aftermath of a sexual assault. (Recorded 3/20/23)

Objectives
  1. Recall the most recent updates to how sexual assault examinations are undertaken and what we may need to tell our patients.
  2. Discuss the resources the SART can provide individuals and communities.
  3. Describe the medical and legal benefits of the timely use of SART and SANE.

Registration
There is no charge to listen to the podcast, but registration is required to obtain a credit certificate, and there is a $15 credit fee (no charge for UI Faculty, Staff and Adjuncts).
