Overview

The purpose of this class is to provide general oncology related subjects to newer nurses.


Credits
Iowa Board of Nursing, Provider #34 (6.40 hours), Non-Nurse Attendance (6.40 hours)

Registration

UI Health Care Staff working on oncology units: No fee
UI Health Care All Other Staff: $25
Non-UIHC Staff: $96 (includes workshop materials, food voucher, and parking) A $20 non-refundable late fee will be assessed for all registrations made after the deadline.

Refund: Full (minus $20 cancellation fee) if notification received on or before the October 15, 2025 registration deadline. Substitutions are permitted at any time.

To register after the deadline date, please call 319-356-1238 to find out if there is seat availability. Registration after the deadline may be declined if space is already filled.


Accreditation

6.4 contact hours will be granted by University of Iowa Health Care Department of Nursing (IBN Approved Provider #34). Participants must attend the entire program to receive full credit.
