Head and Neck Cancer and Reconstruction

The course will be a multidisciplinary review of contemporary head and neck oncology. Interactive lectures and daily panel discussions will maximize the learning experience. Laboratory experience includes hands-on dissections as well as prosections of major head and neck ablative and reconstructive procedures.

AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (24.75 hours), Non-Physician Attendance (24.75 hours)

1. Apply current diagnostic, medical and surgical protocols to the treatment of head and neck neoplasms
2. Assimilate the role of radiation and chemotherapy in the contemporary management of head and neck cancers
3. Explain the adequacy of neck dissection and patient survival in head and neck cancer
