41st Annual University of Iowa Sports Medicine Symposium

The program is designed to present health care professionals with current knowledge about diagnosis, management, and prevention of a variety of injuries commonly incurred in sports participation and to emphasize uniquely infl uential factors that must be addressed in the provision of the highest quality of care to the competitive athlete. We will present specifi c performance improvement measures for the diagnosis and treatment of detectable problems that exist in athletes. In addition to lectures, case studies and interactive discussions will be offered to enhance the participant’s understanding of the topics presented.

3. Describe the use of emerging therapies in clinical practice treating musculoskeletal conditions and determining return to play.
4. Analyze their role as a member of the health care team using current evidence-based best practices.
5. Discuss current options for treatment of musculoskeletal conditions and providing a safe sports environment.

There is a cancellation fee of $25.  No refunds for no shows or cancellations made after December 4, 2025.
