Orthopedic Nursing Conference 2026

The purpose of this program is to discuss multidisciplinary innovations in orthopedic patient management both in and outside the hospital setting.

ANCC Contact Hours (7.75 hours), Participation (7.75 hours)

1. Discuss the history and clinical presentation, physical exam, relevant imaging and treatment options for rotator cuff tendinitis to rotator cuff tearing.
2. Discuss signs and symptoms of joint infections, treatment options available and antibiotics used to treat these. Discuss common side effects of the medications.
3. Describe different options for spasticity management.
4. Describe the basic methods utilized in physical therapy for patients with pain.
5. Identify answer to trivia questions on the subject of orthopedic conditions, diagnosis, and nursing care of patients with orthopedic conditions.
6. Identify emergency situations in the post anesthesia care unit and how to correctly respond as soon as possible.
7. Describe different interventions and medications used to reduce acute pain for post operative patients.
8. Discuss risk factors for development of Charcot Arthropathy and current evidence-based management approaches.

Registration Fee: $60   
($75 if registering after 3/29/2026)

The registration fee covers advertising, CE recording, and registration administrative costs. The Zoom link and any additional conference details will be provided the week prior to the conference.
