Fundamentals of Chemotherapy and the Patient Experience

This two-day program is designed to enhance the nurse’s understanding of chemotherapy and care of patients receiving chemotherapy.

Non-Nurse Attendance (11.30 hours), University of Iowa Health Care Dept. of Nursing Services and Patient Care (11.30 hours)

Workshop Fee: 
UI Health Care Employee:
- Working on units administering chemotherapy: No fee 
- All Other Staff: $60 
Non-UI Health Care Employee: $255 (includes workshop materials, food voucher, parking and CE credits for the two days) A $20 non-refundable late fee will be assessed for all registrations made after the July 30, 2026, deadline.

Refund: Full (minus $20 cancellation fee) if notification received on or before the registration deadline. Substitutions are permitted at any time.

11.3 contact hours will be offered by University of Iowa Health Care Department of Nursing Services and Patient Care Continuing Education Office and align with the appropriate subject matter found in Iowa Administrative Code 655 chapter 5.2(3).
