The purpose of this course is to provide general oncology related subjects to newer nurses.

Non-Nurse Attendance (6.40 hours), University of Iowa Health Care Dept. of Nursing Services and Patient Care (6.40 hours)

Registration

Registration Fees:

  • UI Health Care Employees
    Staff nurses working on oncology units = $0
    All other staff = $25

  • Non-UI Health Care Employees = $96
    Fee includes workshop materials, food voucher, and parking. A $20 non-refundable late fee will be assessed for all registrations made after October 14, 2026 deadline.

Refund: Full refund (minus $20 cancellation fee) if notification received on or before October 14, 2026. Substitutions are permitted at any time.


Accreditation

6.4 contact hours will be offered by University of Iowa Health Care Department of Nursing Services and Patient Care Continuing Education Office and align with the appropriate subject matter found in Iowa Administrative Code 655 chapter 5.2(3).
