This activity was designed to enhance the clinical practice through updated knowledge in electrophysiology lead and device management.

1. Describe key challenges in transitioning from fellowship to independent extraction practice.
2. Implement risk mitigation strategies to improve procedural safety.
3. Outline essential components required to establish a lead extraction program
4. Select appropriate rescue strategies for complex or failed extractions.
5. Evaluate the role of CT and intracardiac echocardiography in procedural planning.
6. Integrate infectious disease principles into extraction decision-making
7. Develop re-implantation strategies following device extraction
8. Identify clinical scenarios where lithotripsy may improve procedural success
9. Identify high-risk lead types and associated complications.
10. Describe techniques and potential complications of device retrieval
