Objectives
  1. Describe one family’s experience of turning significant challenges into fulfillment in life.
  2. Examine one coach’s perspective of supporting a player through unexpected, life-altering challenges.
  3. Review the activities and resources offered from various non-profit organizations for children so they may be immersed in fun and meaningful experiences that will enhance their lives.
  4. Develop strategies for offering life-enriching activities and resources to children with complex illness.
  5. Review key concepts in medical optimization of play for children with medical complexity.
  6. Consider ways to engage with organizations that support children with medical complexity using your unique skillset.
