Iowa Urological Society Annual Meeting

This conference is designed for practitioners, residents and physician assistants in Urology, Family Medicine and Nephrology. The course is designed to cover a wide variety of urologic diseases from infancy to adulthood. Urologic diseases affect a large portion of the population, and this course is designed to give a broad overview of the contemporary management of these patients.

AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (7.25 hours), Non-Physician Attendance (7.25 hours)

1. Understand the complexity of genitourinary complications from external beam radiation therapy.
2. Explain the differences between various BPH treatments and why one technology/therapy may be better than another.
3. Discuss indications for various treatments for urinary incontinence following intervention for prostate cancer.
4. Understand the process for technology development and how new ideas are brought to market.
5. Review the current guidelines for diagnosis and treatment of lower urinary tract infection and overactive bladder.

• PA/ARNP/RN, non-member:  $150
• Resident/Fellow in training, non-member:  $100
• The Friday evening Welcome Reception is included with your registration. Guests are an additional $25.
